The survey is an investigation of ICT diffusion and usage in various aspects of the African society, especially the education community. It is aimed at understanding the technology experiences, needs and expectations of citizens so as to inform policy makers, administrators and industry leaders as they make critical decisions about technology investments and implementations. The report will serve as a baseline to measure the progress made towards achieving a computer literate society.
